ABSTRACT
One of the great challenges of construction is the fulfillment of deadlines, which with the competitiveness of the sector, are becoming smaller. The conventional construction method in Brazil, is semi-handmade, performed locally and extremely dependent on manpower for execution. In search of agility and standardization of execution, the sector has been seeking technological alternatives to increase productivity, reduce waste and industrialize construction processes. The method for internal fences in Drywall, dry construction, although widely used in developed countries, still suffers cultural resistance in the country. The system represents speed, standardization and performance that meet the standards, but the lack of knowledge about the material and the executive method, create insecurity, mainly for residential users. The objective of this study was to analyze the performance of the drywall system as an internal seal, to demonstrate the parameters used for the analysis of thermo-acoustic insulation in internal fences and to apply them to the Drywall, to verify the normative performance requirements, to explain the components of the system, its use, comparison with traditional masonry, as well as explain the history of this constructive method. For this, a systematic bibliographical review was carried out, describing the whole process of research and selection of academic material, filtering and selecting the best materials on the subject and organizing information in a coherent way.
