INCLUSÃO DE ESTUDANTES UNIVERSITÁRIOS DE NACIONALIDADE HAITIANA NO MERCADO DE TRABALHO BRASILEIRO

RESUMOO presente artigo teve como objetivo geral identificar se existem dificuldades na inclusão de profissionais estrangeiros, mais especificadamente haitianos, no mercado de trabalho na cidade de Balneário Camboriú, localizada no norte do Estado de Santa Catarina, se havendo dificuldades, quais são? Neste artigo, foram abordados tópicos acerca de dados levantados em pesquisas realizadas com autores que tratam das seguintes questões: imigração haitiana; inserção no mercado de trabalho; imigração no Estado de Santa Catarina; os perfis demográficos dos imigrantes do Haiti para o Brasil, suas escolaridades e inserções laborais e dificuldades encontradas. A pesquisa possuiu caráter qualitativo descritivo, composta por entrevistas com quatro estudantes, dos vinte e quatro haitianos presentes no Centro Universitário, foram utilizadas 12 perguntas ao total, que, por final, observou-se que a maior dificuldade de todos os entrevistados, era com o idioma, ou seja, a comunicação com os demais, além de preconceito.
ABSTRACTThe main objective of the present study is to investigate if foreign professionals, specifically haitians immigrants, encounter any difficulties when it comes to finding jobs in the city of Balneário Camboriú, located in the north of the State of Santa Catarina. Also, if there were any difficulties, what would they be? The present article contains data collected from studies involving authors that deal with issues such as: haitian immigration; how these professionals insert themselves in the workforce; immigrations in the State of Santa Catarina; the demographic profiles of the immigrants from Haiti to Brazil, their level of schooling, how they went about finding jobs, and the difficulties encountered. The research had a qualitative descriptive character, written after compilation of interviews with four out of the twenty-four haitian students present at the University Center. The questionnaire used in the interview had twelve questions and at the end of the interviews, the authors concluded that one of the greatest difficulties encountered was the language barrier, which made communicating with other students difficult, as well as prejudice.
